Relaxing during the holidays is very important, but it is also nice to discover the area. We have selected various outdoor activities that are ideal for exploring the area in an active way!
In both Estepona and Marbella there are many possibilities to rent boats. You can choose to rent a boat and sail around yourself, but it is often possible to rent a larger boat with a captain.
These people can take you to the most beautiful places! There are a lot of dolphins in the area of Estepona and these people know exactly when and where to be, so there is a 90% chance that you will see wild dolphins!
There are also many options for sailing from Estepona to Marbella, then you can spend the day there and return to the apartments by car.
Often these different tours include drinks, snacks and music. In summary, a wonderfully relaxed day and an excellent way to view the Costa del Sol from a different angle.
Our apartments are located in the Costa del Sol, there is a lot of golf here and is therefore called the Costa del Golf. Marbella is not inferior to this name and there are also more than enough opportunities to go golfing.
2.5 km from our apartments is the beautiful golf club Resin. Because this golf club is located between the mountains and the sea, it has a beautiful environment. Besides the fact that the golf courses are very beautiful, the atmosphere and the food here are also very good. In short, if you are on holiday here and you like waves, it is definitely recommended to spend a day here!
If you are looking for a sporty activity, we recommend discovering the Spanish landscapes in a buggy. During these buggytours you will have variety between mountains and the beach and you will have beautiful views. From the mountains you can view the entire coast, which is already very impressive, but you will also see Morocco!
If you like adrenaline and want to see the different sides of Estepona, we definitely recommend this!
The Costa del Sol has beautiful landscapes. You will be able to see that everywhere but we like to discover different places by walking. This will take you to places you would not be able to reach by car.
One of the walks we recommend is Caminito del Rey. This route was once declared one of the most dangerous hiking routes in Europe, luckily they have renovated it and it is now completely safe!
You make your way through mountains along a cliff with a river running through it. The walk is about 7.5 km long and easy to walk.
When you reach the end of the trail you can take a shuttle bus for €1.30 back to the car park where the car is parked.
A ticket is required for this walk. We recommend doing this through the official Caminito del Rey site because other organizations charge more for this. Via the official site it is €10 without a guide and €18 with a guide who tells about the history of this special place.
